GODDESS OF FERTILITY

An unconventional baby shower for an artist and filmmaker, hosted in her home on The Peak in Hong Kong.  Taking inspiration from her favorite films - Marie Antoinette by Sofia Coppola and Daises by Věra Chytilová, we created a tongue-and-cheek 'GODDESS OF FERTILITY' feast, where the food took inspiration from emblems of femininity, the female body in a celebration of excess. 

  • TWIN PEAKS

    Steamed sourdough bread, charred kaya butter, meats, cheese

    Smother your selected boob with charred kaya butter or pair with savoury meats and cheeses.

    ALTAR OF FERTILITY

    Hard boiled quail eggs and sea urchin, Hong Kong chili crisp

    Construct your own 'foie gras of the sea'. Peel an egg, combine with sea urchin and a Hong Kong chili crisp. 

    SMALL BOOBS

    Smoked salmon mousse, pink coulis sheet, bitter endives, fortune cookie

    TREASURE TROVE

    Black sesame mochi or sponge cake, citrus fruit salad

    Dark cacao mousse - coconut milk foam, honeycomb

    Marzipan/formed jelly/candied fruit

    Chewy peanut brittle with coconut flakes, dipped in dark chocolate

    Crunchy pumpkin seed brittle, dipped in dark chocolate

    Crunchy sesame seed brittle

    FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH

    Champagne, lychee liqueur, fresh pink peche, sparkling water
